Alasdair Robertson (Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer)

Alasdair Robertson is currently the Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer of the Law Society. Alasdair obtained a Bachelor of Law degree with Honours from Edinburgh University in 1992. He was admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales in 1996, Scotland in 1997, Hong Kong in 1998 and as an Attorney-at-Law in the Grand Court of the Cayman Islands in 2001 where he has been practicing ever since.

Alasdair's expertise is in the areas of capital markets, structured finance, equity capital markets and structured products in relation to hedge funds as well as regulatory related work. Alasdair is the author of several articles and publications on various Cayman Islands' legal matters.
